Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Bee Encouraged~Bee Challenged~Bee Changed, Shad and Alyssa Ciampi (and the team :) ) 3rd Hive Meeting!Last week, we asked the questions. This week you all asked the questions! Such a great exercise to getting us thinking and meditating on the words of God! Good job everyone! Some of our Beginner Bees, along with their dedicated teachers (Miss H. and Miss L.), braving the heatwave while they worked on their verse and song! Thanks Beginner Bees! You're doing a great job! (Clockwise from left to right): Mr. M listening to Miss A. recite a verse. Miss K. listening to Mrs. P. recite a verse. Others finishing their recitations. One of our favorite parts of our meetings - seeing and hearing everyone speak God's word to each other! Thanks parents for participating too! Obstacle Course - Week 3Before entering the obstacle course, each family needed to answer three questions from the DJ study. Talk about active review! Obstacle 1: P. family bravely scaling the wall after answering three questions on the DJ study! Obstacle 2: L. family boys working together on the "boardwalkers" to "divide the waters"! Awesome! Obstacle 3: A. family climbing "through the vines" while trying not to ring the bells and dodging water balloons! Such good sports! Obstacle 4: O. family (left) and L. family attempting to build an ice skyscraper with their toes! That's one way to keep cool! Obstacle 5: P. family and C. family manning the three man water balloon launcher trying to get the most points by shooting through the hoops and at the same time getting those in "the vines" wet! Ingenious! Obstacle 6: A balance beam of sorts. Mr. D. trying it out. Decided it was too slippery when wet to use the stream machines so we just walked across. Don't worry! We're going to fix that! The whole field! (more or less) Lunch FellowshipOne of the best things about Bible Bee - All the good friends you make! (Miss L. and Miss L.) After meeting fun!Can you believe it is like 112 out! Crazy kids! Love that carpetball! I guess they do get hot after a while! There are other places of shade, but this is way cooler!
Nothing like snow cones (sweetened with grape juice or lemonade) to cool off! We had a wonderful time with you all! We hope you can make it to more meetings, including this Saturday, June 17th! You can look forward to:

We love seeing you all work together as families! We added a short wall (not pictured) to climb (or easily jump over in some cases)! P. family (pictured right) reading their scripture before scaling the wall! Next, a much wetter pool noodle forest. Next, try not to ring the bells on a bit bigger string maze. Always a good sport, Mr. K. T.! A new addition - flippers! (Much thanks to the P. Family for loaning the filppers!) Harder than you think but with a little coordination it could be done! Thanks for the encouraging cheering! Was that you cheering Mrs. A.? Frisbee toss! Two frisbees. Three hoops. Big hoop - 10 pts. Medium hoop - 20 pts. Small hoop - 30 pts.
